FAQs

What is your photography style?

I try and capture the feeling. My images tend to lean more towards the cinematic; I love to play around with light and texture. My images skew towards the dramatic and earthy vs. light and bright. Galleries will include a mix of traditional family portraits but also lots of details, in between moments, and styled poses.

Where do you shoot in San Antonio?

I photograph all over the place! When we speak I’ll find out what kind of vibe you’re after and we can pick a location based on that.

What do your sessions look and feel like?

I’ll guide you with prompts and cues, so you’re never left wondering what to do. My style is a blend of direction and space for you to simply be, allowing your connection to unfold; that’s where the real magic happens!

Talk to me about retouching.

I retouch most of my images to make you look like the best version of yourself while still remaining natural. If there is something specific you’d like retouched, let me know!

What does booking look like?

We will decide on a date and time ( weather dependent obvi! Don’t want you getting wet in the rain!). I will send you a contract, you’ll pay a 50% upfront deposit to secure your date, the rest is due after the session. Your photos will come back to you within 14 days with a sneak peak usually within 1-2 days post session. You will get an email with a link to your gallery with all your edited photos.

What is the best time for a photography session?

Beautiful images come from beautiful light. Light controls the mood. I try and aim for 90 minutes before sunset to start a photography session. Early morning is another option. If you’re looking for a darker, moodier shoot we can plan for a mostly overcast day.
